What is chamber music, you ask?

It’s one of the most awesome, life transforming teams you could join, and it’s not a sport!

Quiring Chamber Music Camp offers the thrill of playing in a small group with other musicians. Students play in groups of three to five players, developing their musical skills through stimulating and nurturing coaching from a world-class faculty. This unique experience inspires and motivates the group, and therefore the individual to attain his or her highest potential.

Is this camp for you? Absolutely! In addition to performing, our participants' intellect and creativity is further stimulated through daily creative sessions. An integral part of these sessions are composition classes, in which students create and perform their own musical works. We also bring multidisciplinary guests to our workshops including visual artists, writers, actors and philosophers.

We carefully match students to each other and tailor repertoire to each group so that every person’s experience, regardless of their level, will be positive, inspiring, fun and rewarding. Our world - renowned faculty is chosen not only for their deep love of chamber music, but also for their proven excellence and commitment to teaching. Our new location in Port Coquitlam makes our camp easily accessible to students all over the Greater Vancouver area and beyond. The camp spans two weeks in July: junior week is designed for students ages 5-12 and senior week for students 13-22.
