Art Teacher
Saffron is thrilled to offer time for students to be creative during their Camp experience. Each year, Saffron plans Art lessons that offer students a chance to be expressive and try new materials and skills. Art block is also an important time for students to connect with their ensemble group and the larger group of peers socially and creatively.
During the school year, Saffron teaches at Island Discovery Learning Community on Bowen Island. She is the Kindergarten/Grade One teacher and the Art teacher for grades K-9. Saffron has been teaching in private and public school settings for 30 years since graduating from U.B.C. in 1992.
